Releases

Every major OpenAI launch, newest first, each with its date, its price and a link to its page. As of Nov 8, 2026 the newest is GPT-6 Cyber (Nov 5, 2026), for approved security teams, and the newest model anyone can use is GPT-6.1 Terra (Oct 26, 2026).

OpenAI's newest release is GPT-6 Cyber, on Nov 5, 2026, a model for finding and fixing software vulnerabilities that only approved Daybreak Red customers can use. The newest model anyone can use is GPT-6.1 Terra, since Oct 26, 2026, in ChatGPT Work and Codex on Plus and higher and in the API at $1 and $5 per million input and output tokens. The plans themselves have not changed price since Sep 29, 2026: Free, Go $8, Plus $20 and Pro at $100, $200 or $500 a month (read Nov 8, 2026).

This page lists the major launches only, the ones that change what you can do or what you pay: new models, new products, headline features and plan changes. Each links its own page, and Vi.ki adds a new release here within the hour of OpenAI announcing it. Every smaller change, week by week, is on ChatGPT Updates.
